Frequently Asked Questions

Has Omstar been tested by the California Air Resources Board (CARB)?

Yes, and in doing so has been found to reduce emissions and improve fuel economy.

Has Omstar been tested by an EPA licensed laboratory?

Yes, and it has EPA approval and registration.

Is Omstar free of Alcohol, Ethanol, Acetone, Ammonia and Kerosene?

Yes. And although the chemicals above can help reduce smoke, they increase Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Nitrous Oxide (NOX) pollutants and lack essential lubricants and cause greater wear on engines, fuel pumps, o-rings etc.

Is Omstar non-metallic, free of carcinogens and ashless upon combustion?

Yes. In fact, Omstar is completely non-toxic and 99.99976% ashless upon combustion.

Is Omstar safe to handle and store?

Yes. Diesel fuel has a flashpoint between 150-220 degrees Fahrenheit (F). For safety, fuel reformulators should have a flash point of at least 220 degrees F. Omstar's flashpoint is 300 degrees F.

Does Omstar improve Cetane/Octane levels?

Yes. In Saybolt laboratory testing Omstar increased Cetane values from 45.5 to 47.5.

Is Omstar cost effective?

Absolutely. The blend ratio of 1 gallon of Omstar per 1280 gallons of fuel make it a Return On Investment (ROI) for fleet/plant users on two fronts - economy and ecology.

Are Omstar's benefits believable?

Yes. Omstar d-1280x is patented and registered with the US EPA for six purposes: combustion improver, cetane improver, gum solvent, upper cylinder and valve lubricant, carburetor and choke cleaner.
