Fainman's Theory

The Power of Synthetic Esters

Morton Z. Fainman, Ph.D., was one of the world's foremost experts on the lubricity powers of synthetic esters. By creating d-1280x, he caused two important changes to fuel: a change in the fuel's "lubricity" and a change in its combustibility.

Lubricity

The special blend of esters in Omstar d-1280x, increases the lubricity of fuel by reducing the resistance of fuel throughout lines, valves, and the engine itself, allowing the fuel to pass through the entire system more easily. All of the internal components of the fuel system benefit from the cleansing action, including fuel lines, filters, spark plugs, and injectors. The added lubricity also conditions engine seals, keeping them tighter for longer. The results of a cleaner, more lubricated engine are less maintenance, and an engine that operates at a lower temperature, increasing engine life and saving fleet owners capital in both the short and long term.

Combustability

An engine that can use fuel to the maximum degree possible has two important results: 1) a reduction in fuel consumption (more efficient); and 2) a reduction in hydrocarbons which are unburned fuel residues/particles that engines expel in the form of emissions (cleaner). The proprietary blend of Omstar d-1280x maximizes any engine's combustibility and because d-1280x itself is 99.99976% ash-less upon ignition, it does not add any of its own components to the exhaust.
